Angel's Place

 FINALLY unlocked the night elves in warcraft! Due to me faffing about it took me a lot longer than it probably should have BUT it was still a long, long series of quests to do even doing it at level cap. Now to do the, not quite so long, steps to unlock void elves and lightforged draenei! Then after that I'll just have to unlock the mechagnomes, the zandalari trolls, and the high mountain tauren, then I'll be done! :D Gives me something to work on while I'm waiting for Dragonflight to drop.

I've also added some more mods to Stardew as I work on getting the community center unlocked and start a new save to do another Joja run. I use to feel bad about doing Joja runs but anymore I see it as just a quicker way to unlock the greenhouse and ginger island to make lots of gold from farming. 

In none gaming news, I think I pulled a muscle in my right wrist as it hurts when I hold and turn items in certain ways. Got my wrist brace on and some muscle rub so I should be fine in a few days.

Spend the day with one of the sisters. Took her to the doc and we drove out to see a cousin. Well, I say cousin, but she was raised along side us by our granny, so she's more like a sister but one who I've not seen for years. It was nice. Not at all like we'd not talked in a very long time. It's nice when you have family like that. You know?

 some of my lilies have bloomed this year and they are so pretty!!! 




I say my lily, but really, it's mom's. I bought the bulbs but she planted them and she and the sis take care of the outside plants and they do a great job of it too. But, since she knows I love lilies, she calls them my lilies too. :P (Also, I just noticed I keep spelling it, "lilly" with 2 l's instead of one. Do the British spells it with 2 l's? I grew up in a school system where, for whatever reason, they taught us to spell certain words in the British style and it still trips me up to this day but I can't remember if lilly was one of them. I just know lots of times I spell things with 2 l's or 'ou" instead of 'o' and I just go with it lots of times. 

I was gonna get started on leveling one of my warcraft alts but they are having maintenance for the next few hours so I think I'm gonna play some sims and give stardew a break.

The weather's cooled down since it rained the past few days and we currently only have one a/c running. It is SO nice.

Bitty is still having problems with the house training. He's pretty good at not pooping in the house but he pees everywhere! *sigh* A majority of the time it's like he's not even aware he's peed and it is very frustrating. But we are working on it! :D

Still working on getting Night Elves unlocked in warcraft and I've already completed the community center in year one of Stardew Valley. I also unlocked Ginger Island. Now I'm working on maxing out my skills and unlocking all the things on Ginger Island.

Finally got my books on the shelf in my room and we're still remodeling the kitchen/laundry room area. Once that's done we can work on my library.

It's been a busy day.

Drove to Walmart (which is now about a 1/2 hour drive instead of a 2 minute drive away) and did some shopping.

Mom and I then spent an hour putting together this wooden toilet paper holder thing (more like a 4th dimension jigsaw puzzle from hell) for the bathroom. Then, some of the kids came over. I got my hair cut by one of the nieces (\O/) and got to spend time with one of the great-nieces and spend some time with the kids (well they're adults but I'll always call them "the kids" :P).

Mom did a bit of cleaning and I've been making home made lo mien for supper. Almost choked to death on a bit of meat that went down the wrong pipe and it's SO annoying when that happens. Not the almost dying but the choking part. It seems that happens more and more as I get older. Now I'm gonna have a sore throat from all the coughing. *sighs*

But it's not Friday. Weird how that happens.

Started watching youtuber Risshella's channel as she has some fun Sims 4 legacy videos. Highly recommend it if you need/want something to watch that's funny and entertaining.

Speaking of funny and entertaining, Lil'bit and one of our cats has a 'game', where the cat comes in to the room and Bit tries to 'play' with her and the cat hisses and jumps around causing a mess. I think she's teasing the dog but she's driving me with the jumping.

So, we've lived in the house for over a month now and it still feels more like home than the other places I've lived in a long time. I love going outside and being able to see all kinds of stars and how quiet it is during the day and just, everything.

Got about 12 hours of sleep last night and I'm still tired. I know it was getting up so early for the past few days, as well as all the driving, so today is a day to take it easy and play warcraft.

I'm working on getting some real gold in the game, unlocking flying in the Battle for Azeroth areas, and unlocking the allied races. I've already unlocked the vulpera race (foxes for the win!) and am working on the Kul Tirans on the Alliance side and using my Horde alt to unlock the Mechagnomes (which are technically Alliance but, like the Nightelves in the Legion expac, can be unlocked by either faction).

In Sims 4 gameplay, I'm playing a rags to riches game on a teen alt, and here's a picture of her fishing with other sims...one of these things is not like the other! LOL!



ALSO, did y'all know Billy Boyd (the actor who played Pippen in the LOTR movies) does voice acting in the new ESO expac, High Isles!!!???

I found out when I started playing the game the other day! Here's his character!!



Speaking of LOTR, I've been slowly making my way through the LOTRO main story line and, since I boosted my character during the 15th anniversary give away they did, I've taken a bit of a break to play other things.  For some reason, with LOTRO, I tend to play in phases. But I enjoy it and it let's me level at my own pace, so it's all good. i'll get back to it soon, I'm sure.

In home news, one of the greatest things about our new home is how much different it is temperature wise! Like, in our old house, it was a brick house and it never stayed cool in the summer or warm in the winter. Here though! We have a furnace that actually heats up the place when it's cold/chilly and, even with the air conditioners off, unless it's extremely hot out, it is so cool inside! PLUS, when it is hot out the a/c units keep it SO COOL inside! I LOVE IT!

Finally, Bitty has started this thing where he'll pee inside the house and them come and let me know he has to go potty. SIGH. Mom says it's a phase and we just have to work with him until he gets it in his doggo head that he goes outside and tells us first but we sure are cleaning up a lot of messes. Fortunately, 99% of the time it's just peeing. He's been VERY good at waiting until we go out for poops.  Also, Izzy and Koda, the two dogs we had spayed, are just chilling while they heal...well, Izzy who is younger than the other dogs and the most playful, thus Bitty's go to play partner, has been semi-hiding from Bitty but I can't blame her tbh.

And, that's it for the day, time to go play some more and look after the doggos, hope y'all are doing well!

So, we have some cute foxes that are living in an old shed that's at the back of the property. They are very cute but foxes and cats and doggos are not a good combo. We'll be calling around to find a sanctuary or animal control to come remove them to a better home. They are very very cute though.

We are still working on the house training but he's not as bad as some pups I've raised.

He's currently sacked out on the floor by my chair. So cute!

Not to be too TMI, but less than 2 weeks ago, I ended my period, and here I am having another (though, with a lighter flow fortunately). *sighs* I know it's because I'm entering menopause. My mother and grandmothers all started around their 50s so I'm the right age for it. But it sucks.

Any who, dogs and cats and people are getting settled in. Still got some work to do but it's 1000 times better than the old house. Got to turn off utilities today but, I just remembered, tomorrow it's Memorial Day, so who knows if I'll reach anyone.

Now I'm sitting here, eating Pringles, and thinking about playing the sims. Have a great day y'all!
