So we went out to the house today. Bitty whined for about 10 min on the way there and then went to sleep for the rest the ride. We're making progress!
We got some ac units put in and the couch in the living room. Sister 2 and BIL are working on the kitchen and my library. After we took down the old school drop ceilings they had, we saw there was water damage to the ceiling and walls (which we were expecting as the prior owner told us about it before we bought it) and now we're working on getting new dry wall up and the cabinets and sink back in the kitchen.
Once we get moved in, we'll be able to start sorting all the stuff in the boxes we have piled up. WHERE this stuff came from Mom and I still can't figure out. :P
Oh! While getting one of the ac units put in, I banged my ankle up pretty good. THEN when I got home I tripped, fell, and banged up my knee and legs. Go me! :P
Bitty is doing his post-car ride "OMG I'm SO tired" bit and I'm waiting for the tylenol to kick in.
