Hot days in the summertime

It is WAY too hot here in Indiana. Way, way too hot. bleurgh! I took the dogs out and then took a shower to cool off. Now we're all hiding in the nice cool house. Still loving that I have a house that is COOL in the summer! Also, found out the city, who bought the old house, has already torn in down. I was only disappointed I couldn't be there with popcorn to watch them do it. ;)

Speaking of the old house, when we moved, we took a bit of a wisteria vine we had been growing. (It was a shoot from a wisteria vine I'd originally planted nearly two decades ago at my Granny's house before she passed.) We planted it in the middle of May, just before we officially moved in, and OMG! It is a monster!

Here's two photos of it. The first is when we planted it and the second was just about a week ago! Anyone have any trimming tips for it so we don't have to dig it up and burn it?





Anywho, we had a nice 4th by not doing anything as is our constitutional right. :P  Hope y'all have had a good week so far!
