up and running
May. 22nd, 2022 10:01 amThe power was back on at about 15 till 10 pm last night but then the internet was down. I ended up going to sleep early but, with Bitty, was up around 3am to take him for his early morning walk. The internet was back around that time. yeah!
I went back to bed around 4 and then got up again around 9:30. So over all, we were without power for about 7 hours. During that time, we drove around town to see the down trees (what? the car has ac. :P), went out for supper at Wendy's, and mom watched stuff on her phone while I read Evil Under the Sun on mine. Not a bad way to spend time without electricity.
Today, we're gonna get some more stuff over at the new house. There's not really much left here now. Mainly, just a few things to keep us going until we finally get moved in and the pets and their supplies.
Mom's currently having breakfast, the dogs are being the dogs, and the cats are laying on what surfaces they can find that keep the out of Bitty's reach. >:D
